Prison Poem

Poem About Prison Separating Us

This poem is for my boyfriend who is in prison for a while. Some people thinks it's crazy holding onto someone you can't see, but it makes our love stronger, and I know one day he will be free. Until then, I will sit here and cry on my knees. It feels like no one knows what it's like to be in deep love with someone who you don't really see. It's hard to get through.

The bars between us keep us apart.
The bars between us can't keep you out of my heart.
The bars between us create hugs we have to keep.
The bars between us make me weak.

Hello. My story is about my son in jail. He is only 27 years old but he is hardheaded. I need to share my story so you don't make the same mistake I did with him. After my divorce of 23 years I let him do what he wanted to do with his life, he choose the wrong way and he ended up in jail. But it's not his fault, it was mine because I stopped takeing him to church and left him by himself. Now I go to church and I ask God
to give me a second chance after he got out of jail. Please pray for me.
