So quiet and so deep,
I sit here and watch you sleep.
I watch you as your body lies peacefully.
I'm scared,
you're scared,
will we ever get through this?
You've graced us with your presence
for so many years,
please God,
take her now so we can fight our tears.
I wish you could be here to watch us all grow
but it's time now,
it's time now mom,
time for you to go.

When cancer comes, we are always scared because we never know what will happen. My Meme had cancer. She died five years ago, and it is really sad. I cry almost every day. I wish God would have taken her when we asked him to because she would not have had to go through nearly as much pain, but sometimes I'm still mad at God for taking her.
