Daughter Poem

Poem About How A Mom Views Her Daughter

Something unexpected happened to me at a young age. I got pregnant at 18. I thought my life was over and I would be alone, but as soon as I saw my baby I forgot about all the bad things in life because now I had to be a mom and be there for what's mine. I am a single mom, but I know God will be there during the hard times, so I take it as a blessing in disguise. My baby is my angel.

When I look at you, what do I see?
I see you as a mini me...

The way you laugh, cry, and whine...
Moments like these are one of a kind...

The first time I looked into your eyes...
I couldn't hold back, I started to cry...

Mommy's little angel sent from heaven...
Having you in my life is a real blessing...

You make me laugh, you make me smile...
For you I'd walk a thousand miles...

You're my heart, my soul, my life, my love...
You truly are sent from up above...

I am a mother of 3. They are all very different. Priorities are all different. But I love each one the same. I now have 6 grandkids that I miss very much. We don't live close, so I don't get to see them hardly ever. This poem reminded me of the little moments of youth that flew by. But keeps those in my mind and heart.
