You give me the strength
to stand up tall.
You reach out for my hand
every time I'm about to fall.
Though there is gold up in the mountains,
lovely pearls deep in the sea,
those treasures do not mean as much
as your friendship means to me.
I know that you love me,
And that our love is true,
That no matter the chaos, the excitement, or the fears,
I know you love me as deeply as I love you.

the conclusion to each day.
I envision you in all that I do
and everything I say.
Out of all the moms
I could have had,
I'm glad it was you
who God sent.
I met you as a stranger,
Took you as a friend.
I hope our long friendship
Will never end.
I wish you could see
the angel I see
when you stand
in front of me.
