Mother Poem

Inspiring Words For A Mother

I stayed up late at night to write this poem for my mom. She needs the support, so I thought this would help her out through her day.

All You Are To Me

Thank you, Mom...
for the love, strength, and care,
for in this world that is quite rare.
For being my guardian and my guide
on those sad days when I cried.

I'm proud of you because...
you never gave up hope when the times were hard.
You kept going forward through it all, yard by yard.
You have never let others change who you are.
You have always shown me that you're my favorite star.
You move through the unknown with strength,
no matter how far the length.

I would have never been here today....
without your motherly advice,
without your ultimate sacrifice.
Without the support I needed,
I never would have succeeded.
Without your unbounded love,
I could never stay above.

I just wanted you to know....
I will always stand by your side.
I will give back and be your guide.
I will fight for you in the hard times,
even if all I have are a few dimes.
I will never lose my faith in you.
My love for you is always true.

I will always be there
on those days you are hurt and sad
and you feel everything is going bad.
I will hold you in my arms and say
I'm glad to be with you here today.
When you feel you are alone,
I will be your chaperone.

So thank you, Mom.
I love you so much!
Never forget, the support and love I have for you will never diminish.
You are one of the strongest people I know,
so don't let anyone else's evil decisions or careless actions
change who you are today.
You are better than all of them and stronger in every way.

From your son's heart
-Jessie

I truly love this poem. It touched deep within my heart! My mama is the best mom anyone could've asked for. I'm not to sure she feels that and knows that. She is in a very dark place right now, and I am working on helping her out of it. The difference between the mom in this poem and my mama is that she has changed some due to the evilness in this world and being taken advantage of, never being heard, always putting others first, doing what they want even when she didn't want to and so much more that she grew some resentments and felt like she always came last and couldn't make decisions for herself without hearing from someone about it. It's sad, and it hurts and I have followed in her footsteps up till this point. I tend to have exactly the same personality defects if that's what you call them. I'm not exactly sure. All I know is that I am more like my mama than I am not, and I fear that I am going to continue down the same road. I am doing my best to change some of my habits for my life.

Dearest Mother, you are amazing. You are proud. You are special, and I never want you to forget that. When you are gone, I miss you. I cannot last a day without you and your beautiful smile. Whenever I need a friend, you are there, and when I am sad and I am feeling and thinking bad things, you cheer me up and make me feel better. You are the best. I don’t know what I would ever do without you.

I have four children. I love all of them. One just as much as the other. BUT I must say that I love them all in different ways. How could I not? They are all their own individual people. So much in many ways the same! But so much in different ways so, so different! My first, as I think with most first children, was my special little guy, my angel. Such a perfect little boy! He was always well mannered, everyone loved him so. Then a second special little guy!! Then ten years after my first little guy, TWINS. Oh my! First of all, I don't know how I would have made it without my first son. Such a huge difference he made. Almost taking on a parent's role!! So I will have to say that I've had the mother experience in four different ways. Of course, to me, they are perfect in most every way. But as mothers, and as we get older, I think we prefer to hold on to the best, most perfect things in our lives. And don't we all want to feel that our children are perfect!?

I agree with you wholeheartedly Nan. I have two beautiful daughters with totally different personalities. I had them early in life and people often mistake them for my sisters. We laugh and joke around but they know when I am serious. I thank God for giving me these two amazing treasures. And I am a grandmother! Why that is the very best gift of all!! There's absolutely nothing like it in this world!

I have made many poems for my mom because she has been there for me every step of the way. From the first time when I was having trouble with school because I had dyslexia. She had never let go on me or never forgets me. That's why I wanted to write this story because I want the world to know how much I love my mother
