She started out so small, a bundle in my arm
All I wanted was to protect her, keep her from all harm
I gazed into her little face, her beauty shone so bright
How I love my baby, she's such a lovely sight
She grows and grows, I can't believe my eyes
Each day she does something new, each day a nice surprise
She no longer wants to cuddle, for she's learning to crawl around
She squeals with delight, my how I love that sound
Her little fingers curl around the cheeto in her hand
She likes to put her little toes into the warm, summer sand
I lift her above my head, she loves flying like a plane
I love to hear her say momma, still can't believe she knows my name
I like to tickle her tummy, it's funny when she squirms about
Sometimes when I tell her no, she puckers her lip to pout
I give her a funny face, every little while
Anything at all to see my Anna smile
I love to her smile, delight to see her face
I know she couldn't have been so perfect without God's amazing grace
Anna
