I Want To Make Sweet Love To You
I want to tempt the hands of fate
Take you out on a lovely date
Act like a perfect gentleman
Be as romantic as I can
I want to tempt the hands of fate
Take you out on a lovely date
Act like a perfect gentleman
Be as romantic as I can
September Eleventh Two Thousand and One
The Big Apple awoke, a new day had begun.
The Statue of Liberty was standing so proud
As God and Freedom were singing out loud.
Whoa! This is an amazing poem. You're right, you never should've had a reason to write this, but I'm glad you did! It really warmed my heart. You are right about 9/11 banding America...
I love your eyes and your soft sighs.
I love your inner beauty, too.
I love the way each passing day
You give a love so warm and true.
I always remember that smile, a smile that can make me fall in love. He is my friend. He is so kind and always smiling back at me. Every day I always wanna say to him to keep that smile for...
Halloween, blood gurgling scream
Little children run and hide
Ghost costumes and flying brooms
On which evil witches ride
Christmas time is finally here.
It only comes but once a year,
And it's a time to spread good cheer
To those we love and hold so dear.
Beautiful poem. I love it. One of my favorite poems on this website.
Although I always read "Poem of the Day" I do not usually comment. However, this poem was fascinating. I have nothing but the utmost respect for anyone who serves our great country and provides us the freedom we all cherish. Your poem is a tremendous tribute to your son. I salute you for writing this poem and more importantly I salute your son and all our military men and woman.
May God bless them all as well as America.
Debbie, very touching. I hope some people heed your advice before it's too late too follow it.
Keisha, Congratulations on poem of the day. It's a great positive poem and you deserve the recognition. Ronie
A very beautiful poem. I love spirituality poems too. I feel honored to give you your first star and in my opinion any one who reads this should give you a "love it". Thanks for sharing.
I love poems about recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. While in treatment in 1990 I also wrote a goodbe poem to my drug of choice.(Cocaine) Till this day "Goodbye Mister Cocaine" remains one of my favorite poems. Keep up the good work and keep telling your disease to go to Hell
