In the cold,
All alone,
Lost and lonely,
But this was me
Before I felt the pain
And saw the dark rain.
From the simple thought
Of never seeing you again.
Maybe I should let you go,
But I can't.
I can't go a day without you.
What should I do?
After all I've done,
You still wiped away my tears
And put so many smiles on my face.
You've erased all my fears.
You've bandaged all the wounds
And bound them with lace.
To me you're so brave and so strong.
You still say that I'm wrong.
How could that be?
Even though I never saved you,
You saved me.
