I am not from the future
Nor am I from the past
This is not about humor
But is a question asked
Is time travel possible?
The defining answer is yes
It is not too implausible
This subject I will address
Look to your memories
All which are good and bad
Locked away in your treasury
Making you happy and sad
A Time Machine to the past
Of times that are long gone
Things fleeting which didn't last
And should never be redrawn
Bringing us to the present
Time Machine's wristwatch
Tik Tok every second spent
Sunrise to sunset as we watch
Watching, waiting to the future
We hasten with our hopes
Hoping to get there sooner
Dreams into reality it invokes
Is time travel possible?
The defining answer is yes
It's all definitely plausible
Time not to be left to a guess
The better question really to ask
Is time today...tomorrow's forecast
Present to hope and memories back
Treasure each moment while it lasts

ABOUT THE POET:
Not a lot to say here. I just enjoy writing as a means to mentally unwind. I also like to read what others have written and look for the meaning behind the words. Not just the meaning, but the emotions/feelings that are being communicated through the words. Published under the book title "A Story In A Poem" by Michael James Malone
