You are my mother
and always you shall be.
There is no other
who better understands me.

You gave me life
and everything else I ever needed.
My love for you is beyond life.
Every day I am alive I feel better
with you here.
My life has always been so clear.

I will never be anyone's daughter but yours.
For that I am lucky
and have been for nineteen years.
Not once have I felt unlucky.

A time will come,
when I move out for good.
Then and only then will I become
the woman we knew I would.

Mom, what I am saying,
is that I love you.
Every day I am praying
that you are always here to help me through.

I love you!
I cannot say it enough,
and one day you will get your due
For being so tough!
