Wanting To Confess My Love For You Poem

My friend and I have been friends for almost three years. He's honestly the best person I've ever met. He's been there for me all through these years, and I have no idea how he feels about me. It seems like it's possible, but I don't know.

If I could tell you I would,
But I don't think I ever could.
Falling or not, it's hard to tell.
I didn't realize how far I actually fell.

You were always there with a hand outstretched.
Conversations we shared are hard to forget.
Always kind, never harsh,
Yet never afraid to speak from the heart.

If it were easy, it wouldn't be real.
From any hurt you could heal.
I know it's cheesy and you'd probably laugh,
But I am ever grateful that you crossed my path.
