Father's Day Poem

A Daughter's Tribute To Her Father

I am Shruti Singh,15 years old, and this is my 15th poem of 40 lines dedicated to my 40-year-old father, my King whom I am a princess of! This poem has feelings wrapped in a page of words. It will make you feel how much your father loves you, and it gives you a glimpse of the deepest, purest, and loveliest relation between a father and a daughter.

I Am His Princess

I have my own castle,
full of love and laughter!
The builder of my castle is a strong MAN
Who loves me first and himself after.

In these 15 years of life
He has never denied my wish.
Always makes sure
My matching footwear with my dress never miss.

He is the richest in the world!
Richest in love and care.
The one I will always trust
Is only papa-- always true and fair.

Bound by his love and trust,
I am maturing.
He makes every moment magic
By his true love and caring!

However I may look,
Short or weak or pale,
People might make fun of me,
But he always loves me the same.

Sometimes I do wonder,
How can a man be so selfless?
But then the answer comes in my heart-
He is a father, with a heart most tender.

His life is full of sacrifice and tension,
A schedule of hard work and struggle.
Still, he never lets us know
Just to see our smiles and giggles!

No matter if others
Trust me or not,
His blind support is enough
To make me an energy bot.

This Father's Day,
Thought to gift him a bundle of words.
To the world's best father,
This is the tribute I pay!
