Sometimes we need to step back from a relationship to see that it really is unhealthy.

You keep on trying! I might be young and don't understand love, but I know how it is to trust someone and they just stab you in the back, and yes, guys are like that. I have been through hell...

Free From A Bad Relationship

As I sit in my corner and think about your lies,
I have nothing else to do but break down and cry.
You knew it would end,
You knew it would die,
You knew one day we'd have to say goodbye.
You told me you loved me,
You told me you cared,
But the rage inside has slowly flared.
The moments we shared replay in my head,
Along with all the sweet lies you said.
You thought it was a game,
You thought you'd win,
But in the end you felt nothing within.
Deep down inside there was a big empty space
That I now realize you couldn't replace.
Something about you helped me see
That without love I'm finally free.
Free from pain,
Free from lies,
Free from having tear filled eyes.
Without your love I finally see
All the horrid things you've come to be.

I really hate how people say they love you and hug you and kiss you and then dump you over text. I loved him, and he broke my heart. I still love him, and it hurts me and it hurts people around me because I take my sadness and turn it into anger. Then I take that anger and replace it with hurtful words. I just wish I never met him.

Being in a relationship feels like you are on cloud nine. But how can you identify whether a relationship is a toxic or a good relationship if you are blinded by your heart? This poem inspires me a lot to just wait for the right man that He designed for me in His most righteous way. That's why I stayed single after 2 short-term relationships to guys I couldn't trust.

You keep on trying! I might be young and don't understand love, but I know how it is to trust someone and they just stab you in the back, and yes, guys are like that. I have been through hell when I was twelve my grandfather molested me, and it has ruined my life. I hardly ever trust anyone, but you know if you stay strong you'll find him. That prince charming is out there and he will treat you right.
