Broken Friendship Poem

Poem Remembering The Good And Bad Of A Friendship

Recently, my brother died, and then I lost my best friend. Naturally there are problems at home, at school, and in my head. Depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, I've had it all. I've always been a good writer, but not so much a poet, so I'm trying it out, and it makes me feel better, so whether you like it or not, this is for me.

End Of The Line

Published by Family Friend Poems January 2017 with permission of the Author.

When I first saw you, I knew how it would end.
Dark and painful, full of regret.
But now that it has, I wonder to myself,
What would it be if we had never met?

No hour long phone calls,
No silly fights.
No awkward silences,
No late nights.

No laughter,
No sunshine,
No jokes,
No time.

But now it's all over,
End of the line.
