There's not a single day that goes by
That I don't think about you.
You're the reason my hair is dark brown
And my eyes are so blue.
I thought we had nothing,
That my life was rough,
I wish I could have known
Just having you was enough.
I understand a little better now
You did the best you could,
As anyone being disabled, having five children
And a drug addiction would.
I'm so sorry, Mom, I didn't show
You then,
But if you gave me the chance
I would do it all over again.
I would hug you so tight
And never let go,
You need me and love me,
That's all I need to know!
