A star fell
From the clear blue sky
As the rest of the world
Watched it go by
And with that star
Came a gift
Which can only be
Heaven-sent
A beautiful angel
With eyes of brown
Who turned our world
Upside down
Her laughter makes
The darkest day bright
I sit and watch
Her sleep at night
So peaceful and calm
Not a care in the world
A heaven-sent angel
Our baby girl
