November Harbinger
Brilliant lonely star on high,
In the fiery charcoal sky,
in Haiku
Warm fall afternoons,
crisp cool eves with harvest moons,
crickets singing tunes,
I'm so happy you enjoyed "Hello Autumn." It has always been my favorite season of the year. I had to think of a way to sum it up completely for a Haiku style poem and this is what I came up...

What a difference a day makes,
twenty-four little hours.
Cool chill in the air,
Your very first breath of life, I was there.
Tiny miracle of God, you appeared,
overflowing with joy, my eyes cried a tear,
outstretching my arms to hold you so near.
This poem is definitely original and unique. I just never would have thought of looking at Thanksgiving from the turkey's point of view. Very cute poem. I really enjoyed it!
This poem did touch me. It talks to me about appreciation, love, and acceptance. It makes us take a moment to think of how blessed we are and how we need to make the time here and now to show that love and appreciation and also how to accept what has passed. Some things we would love to change if we could. Sometimes we have regrets and other things we would never change, but we have to accept what is and learn and grow into an even better version of ourselves while we still have time. It seems like a very deep soul searching going on in this writer's heart!
This is really an enthusiastic poem about the season of winter. Just reading it got me so excited for the coming winter season. I don't think a point was missed in describing the thoughts, feelings, and atmosphere of this wondrous time of year, even right down to the sneezing! Loved it!
I felt this young lady's love for her dear father. She clearly was very close to his heart and vice versa. She describes all of his characteristics, and he must have been one heck of a wonderful father! She has a treasure for sure in his memory. It is so hard to finally set them free, but she does it with such love and grace! Loved this poem!
This poem, The True Meaning of Life, is so true! It is beautifully written. The author surely has wisdom and experienced much in life to be able to pen her experiences into words that most any person can relate to. What a wonderful poem!
