in Prayer Poems
Down on my knees
I've cried out in need.
Lord, before You my case I plead.
My prayers may not be eloquent,
Down on my knees
I've cried out in need.
Lord, before You my case I plead.
My prayers may not be eloquent,
But sincere they are, indeed.
Yes, I am a sinner, this I decree.
By Your blood I am set free.
Though daily I fail miserably,
I rest assured knowing Your love for me.
Down on my knees
I ask Your forgiveness, please.
Help me to follow Your lead,
Let Your light shine through me.
Trials and tribulations come my way,
But down on bent knee, my burdens
I'll give to Thee!
Down on my knees
I cry out in need.
Lord, before you my case I plead.
