Prayer Poem

Poem About Crying Out In Need

I have been going through a lot of tests and trials in my life recently, and God is my refuge. I find that I fail more often than not. Recently, there was an incident in my life that made me think, "Why pray, why have faith? God doesn't answer prayers." I was so hurt by this incident that I was angry with God. I got over it and asked for forgiveness. God does hear and answer our prayers in the way He feels is best for us and at the time He feels we need it or are ready for it. God bless you all!

Down On My Knees

Down on my knees
I've cried out in need.
Lord, before You my case I plead.
My prayers may not be eloquent,
But sincere they are, indeed.
Yes, I am a sinner, this I decree.
By Your blood I am set free.
Though daily I fail miserably,
I rest assured knowing Your love for me.

Down on my knees
I ask Your forgiveness, please.
Help me to follow Your lead,
Let Your light shine through me.
Trials and tribulations come my way,
But down on bent knee, my burdens
I'll give to Thee!

Down on my knees
I cry out in need.
Lord, before you my case I plead.
