Do dare to dream your desired dream
No matter how impossible it may seem

Do not get deterred by what others say
Stay focused and you will find your way

But remember the road will not be easy, it's an uphill task
So be honest to yourself, and you need to sincerely ask:

Do you have it in you to do everything that it takes?
Like rising after each fall and learning from the mistakes

Do you have the patience when the road seems much too long?
Needless to say, you need to remain resolved and be strong

Do you have the courage to continue and endure?
When the outcome is unknown, nothing is for sure

Do you have the tenacity to carry on till the end?
For on that much of your success will depend.

My heart doesn't belong to me.
You have its only access key.

Life is meaningful because of you.
Our bonding is priceless, always new;
Valuable you are, indeed precious.
Eternity is what I wish for us.

When the world weighs you down
When unfavorable situations make you frown
Count on me, my friend

When the world gives you trouble
When your agonies seem to have doubled

When you can't handle so much stress

You and I have made a life together
You and I complement each other

You and I are best of friends
You and I, our friendship will never end

You and I share a sacred bond
You and I, our love is forever and beyond

You and I know how to adjust
You and I have immense mutual trust

You and I are quick to forgive
You and I know this is the way to live

You and I know we aren't perfect
Yet you and I show each other respect

You and I, so faithful and true
You adore me and I adore you too

So on our anniversary, on our special date
We thank the Almighty, we thank our fate

For bringing us together, for this wonderful life,
For all the beautiful memories as husband and wife.

This is a wonderful world, and it's true.
It's for us, the trees, and animals, too.

Mother Earth provides us with what we need,
But she can't fulfill humans' constant greed.

Her resources are limited, and she is running out.
Listen to her warnings, cries, and ongoing shouts.

We have polluted her land, water, and air.
This shows Mother Earth how little we care.

We have ignored her for a long enough time.
How we treat her is nothing less than a crime.

May we learn from the mistakes as fast as we can,
Because can't you see destruction has already begun?

I want to know you inside out,
I want to know it all -
It doesn't matter if it's important
Or if you consider it to be small.

Tell me all your secrets,
Tell me what makes you, you.
Tell me things you won't tell others -
What you have gone through.

Tell me what upsets you,
Tell me what you lack.
I won't tell it to anyone -
Dear, I've got your back.

Tell me what annoys you,
What makes you mad,
Things that you regret
Or things that make you sad.

Tell me all the reasons,
The reasons why you cry.
Let me make you laugh then;
At least let me try.

I don't know about future,
But this much you can be sure,
No matter what life brings you,
Together we can endure.

We belong to one another, like the body and soul.
You make me complete; you make me whole.
How much I love you is beyond any measure.
You are my wealth, you're the one I truly treasure.

We belong to one another, like the earth and the moon.
Our lives revolve around each other in perfect tune.
How do I say what joy you bring and how much pleasure?
No one can discern it because it's beyond any measure.

We belong to one another, like the waves and the sea,
Because I am a part of you, and you are a part of me.
I now understand what it means to deeply care,
And I know true love is hard to find as it's indeed rare.

We belong to one another; this is how it is meant to be,
Because how else can I define our love logically.
I cannot describe how wonderful I feel,
But I know true love has the power to heal.

When love is so true and love is so pure,
There can't be heartache, for love is the cure.
And on this Valentine's Day, on this day of love,
I give this poem to the one I am so thankful of!

I'm thankful to have you as my friend
You're someone on whom I can depend
You never fail to lend a helping hand
You care for me and also understand

I'm thankful to have you by my side
You're someone to whom I can confide
You never spill my secrets, nor ever lie
You are the one on whom I can truly rely

I'm thankful to know someone like you
A close companion, so faithful and true
You always appreciate me, never fail to praise
You also correct me in your gentle ways

I know you'll always be there for me till the very end
Because you embody the qualities of a true friend.

Out of all the blessings
Life has bestowed on me,
You are the loveliest of all -
This is not hard to see.

Even with the ups and downs,
The happiness and hardship,
Through challenges and success,
We maintained our friendship.

And with each passing day,
I understand and realize
Some things are meant to be
When I look in your eyes.

And this is my wish not just for your birthday.
