About Grace Noll Crowell

Grace Noll Crowell (1877-1969) was an American poet who wrote primarily in the early 20th century. She was a homemaker and mother, but also wrote poetry and was active in her local church community. She began publishing her poetry in religious magazines and periodicals in the early 1900s. She wrote more than 20 books of poetry, many of which were collections of her previously published works. Her poetry often dealt with themes of faith, nature and family. She also wrote hymns and children's poetry. Grace Noll Crowell passed away in 1969, but her poetry continues to be popular and widely read.
