Will I forget your beautiful face?
Will I forget your sweet embrace?
Will I forget how I felt with you?
Will I no longer feel so blue?
No longer am I your love.
We no longer fit like a glove.
No longer shall I hold your hand.
'Tis time to grow up, to be a man.
It will be a most definite trial,
For when I saw you I could run a mile.
Will I forget how to care?
Nothing ever seems to be fair.
Your beautiful face I never want to forget.
But what I want to know is, will I forget?
A Poem About Remembering Your First Love
Forgetting someone you love is like trying to teach a chicken how to fly. It's not in our nature, but it is in our nature to move on and accept what has happened (if we choose to do so)....
