So many of us lost in life,
no idea where to go.
Do we follow our heart's desire?
Do we stay, or should we go?

So many of us lost in life,
not sure where we belong.
Do we work through the struggle,
or should we move along?

So many of us lost in life,
no clue if we will ever change.
Failed attempts are mostly why,
then there are those who crave the pain.

So many of us lost in life,
just trying to get by,
wishing, hoping, wondering, waiting
for the time that we can fly.

Wow, true-to-life and relatable. I guess we've all been there, that particular point in time when there seems to be less clarity. Perhaps, it has something to do with us trying to carve our own paths in life when there is but One Way. I find it helpful to pray, be patient, and find my strength in God. It's such a lovely poem; you really have a gift. And I must say, that unique piece you penned - "To be happy," is truly beautiful.

Aww, thank you so much for your kind words and taking time to comment on my poem. Lately I have found myself talking to God a lot more. I wasn't really raised around church, but I do believe in him. Again, thank you; you made my day!
