Sincere the smile,
The eyes of wild,
Of innocence,
Within a child.
Hope lives there,
Where all's fulfilled,
Those tiny souls,
Their giant wills
The colored pictures,
Held on to,
To help our hearts,
To guide us through.
To move our souls,
From dark to light,
Up from down,
Pale to bright.
We lose our thoughts,
Our worried stares,
Our broken hearts
And weighted cares.
Should hindered hope
Leave life defiled,
All hope returns,
In the eyes of wild.
The Hope We Find In Children
What a lovely message your poem sends. Grandchildren are so special. Best wishes, Ann
