I slept in my bed fast asleep.
I heard nothing, not even a peep.
A break of silence had occurred,
A hand-like shape had emerged.
From the window I heard a tap, tap, tap.
I took the covers off of my lap.
I went to the window and sighed with relief.
It was only a branch with one last leaf.
