letting you leave,
so hard for me to do,
you were my angel.
you taught me everything I knew
but when I found out,
you were dying
of cancerous disease
you looked into my eyes
and told me not to cry
God wanted you,
for your special mind
creating a perfect world
that now he's leaving me behind
we talked all the time
laughed and cried.
made fun of me when
I fell running to home
then you left, a doctor's meeting
you were made to go ,
I know you wanted to stay
but that's not in the show.
Grandpa, it's been years
and I still cry out your name
but I know you'll hate me
if I'll be sad again
I love you and always will,
you were my best friend but better more my grandpa.
I will meet you in heaven one day
and you better greet me,
'cause I miss you so dearly.
