My Grandpa

My grandpa died today.
Oh, how I wish he could stay.
Our selfish hearts just want him here,
but we know he's always near.
A stubborn man my grandpa was,
but still I gave him all my love.
Now as an angel in the sky,
I watch my grandpa fly.
A special man he is to me.
Now that he's gone, I now see
how much my grandpa means to me.
So as he watches from the sky,
we kiss our precious dove goodbye.
