A tired woman filled with fear,
Her angry child sheds a tear.
A last embrace consoles the soul,
While evil forces take their toll.
Fleeting moments, silent cries,
The light extinguished from her eyes.
Her hand held tight, a child's kiss,
A mother's touch her son will miss.
A mighty fight, she struggled so,
A battle lost to deadly foe.
The room grows dark, her child near,
