Abortion Poem

Letter To An Aborted Baby

I wrote this poem because though I cannot keep my child and watch it grow, I do still love it and I haven't yet aborted but I will, I don't feel like less of a mother, I will be doing as I feel right. It will make my life easier and this means my future children's life will be better because I will then be in a position where I can be a mother in the truest sense.

To My Child

My Child
Though I shall never see you smile,
Never hear your laugh,
I won't get to hold your hand,
Or pack your bag to school,
I'll always be your mother,
Be you alive dead or between,
I will always be your mother,
And my child you shall be.

I'll never watch your first step,
Nor heard your first word,
These things will never happen,
In this opportunistic world,
I will always be your mother,
Be you alive dead or between
I will always be your mother,
And my child you'll always be.

If I could I would keep you with me,
I'd raise you till your strong,
I'd bring into this world,
And help you carry,
I will always be your mother,
Whether you are born or not,
I will always be your mother,
and will always love you lots.

Your daddy really loves you,
And he wants to see you grow,
But the time just isn't right yet,
So I have to let you go,
I will always be your mother,
Whether you're born or not,
I shall always be your mother,
And will always love you lots.

Don't you think that I'll forget you,
You're still my little tot,
You haven't graced this world
But still mine are you not?
I will always be your mother,
And I'll raise you in my mind,
I will always be your mother,
And in my heart you shine.
