It's getting cold and I'm getting lonely
Wishing someone would sit down and hold me
Next to their chest in their arms
Our body heats the only thing keeping up warm
In his car on a Friday night
Nothing but trees by the moonlight
Well, maybe I'll stay here forever
In my dreams forever
Wishing we could be here together
Just me and you
Just me and you
Well, I'm smiling now to myself
It's just me by myself
In my bed with the covers on just turned over to set the alarm
Cause this isn't an imaginary place
It's unfair, but it's a fact we have to face
But maybe I'll stay in my dreams forever
Wishing we could be here together
Just me and you
Just me and you
I'm Getting Lonely
