The day will come when it's time to go,
but first there are a few things I would like you to know.
You're the strongest man I ever knew,
and the one I've always looked up to.
You worked your fingers to the bone
to make sure we always had a good home.
You take turns visiting us all,
winter, spring, summer, and fall.
Even on days you could barely walk,
there was nothing that would keep you from your kids when we needed to talk.
It's been a comfort to know that you're here,
whether it's to lend a hand or to bend an ear.
You let us know you're as proud as can be;
you are proud of the whole family.
You're not just a father but also a friend,
who we know we can count on until the end.
I am sure God is watching from up above
and can see the father with the unconditional LOVE.
Thanking Dad For Always Being There
Dad With Unconditional Love
