1. I Want To Be...
I want to be your favorite hello,
And I want to be your hardest goodbye.
I want to be the one who never makes you cry,
The one who puts that sparkle in your eye.

I am always in my feelings. wondering is it true or if i had just done something different but writing and reading poems help me remember that it isn't my fault. I couldn't have done any thing better than how I treated him. So I hope this is useful to other teens like me. Still trying to figure the world out.
I want to be your favorite hello,
And I want to be your hardest goodbye.
I want to be the one who never makes you cry,
The one who puts that sparkle in your eye.
We were very good friends from 1st to 4th. After 4th, we separated, but I never forgot him. He was somewhere in my heart. Starting in 9th, I saw him after so long. I remember all the memories...
One word can start a friendship,
One kiss a love affair,
One smile can bring you laughter,
One hug can show you care,

My heart is now in so much pain.
My tears are falling like pouring rain.
I can no longer sleep a full night.
Yes, I was touched by this poem. They say nothing is forever, but I don't believe that! Love can be and is beautiful. The more you love someone, the bigger the hurt if something goes wrong....
I don't have much of a story but I did want to leave a comment: I really liked this poem. It felt very personal as I turned someone away many years ago. I still love her to this day. I...

I can't seem to get you out of my mind.
The way you walk, the way you talk, the way your eyes shine.
I can't seem to understand the way you bend your head to listen to every word I say
And the way things between us are never dull or gray.
I love poems: teen poems, teen love poems, and first love poems.
I think about you all the time.
You're always in my head.
I reread every text you send
And remember what you said.
I really love your poem. It just reminded me of how I feel about a special person. Even though I know I hurt her, I'm just trying my best just to say sorry. I know she loves poems, so all the...
I feel so empty; all colors are dull.
I can barely breathe on my own.
The light is gone and dark is back.
Cover me in endless black,
I enjoyed the poem "Since You Left." The poet spoke her heart out.
It all began at a young age.
You freed me from my tiny cage.
I began to like you more and more.
It was like I opened a whole new door.
If you were a blade of grass
I would explore the earth for you.
If you were a tree
I would seek out every leaf until I found you.
They say finding true love was the last thing that could happen to me.
Then one day you happened,
One day you occurred,
One day you began to exist.
The last thing they said could happen...

It's broken but there.
It's been crushed but still beating.
It's been ripped from my body but still with me.
I can repair it but will you destroy it again?
I know how you feel my crush made my heart feel exactly like this and this poem captures the pain.

Why am I such a fool?
I can't stop myself from loving you.
And countless nights I've cried for you,
Just because my feelings are true.
I think you can survive. The thing is that you haven't let go of him. I would tell you that you are too special to be someone's second best while you can be someone else's only best... Just...

I watch him from afar
At lunch we walk, separated by a bar
You don't know how much my eyes follow you
I know you can't tell, but what I say is true
The feeling is mutual as it goes the same way as mine. I know it's kinda weird, but I have this feeling that he also watches over me. But then again, I'm not gonna expect too much as this...

It's hard when love is torn away,
When you have been longing for it every day.
You finally think everything is right,
