November Harbinger
Brilliant lonely star on high,
In the fiery charcoal sky,
in Haiku
Warm fall afternoons,
crisp cool eves with harvest moons,
crickets singing tunes,
I'm so happy you enjoyed "Hello Autumn." It has always been my favorite season of the year. I had to think of a way to sum it up completely for a Haiku style poem and this is what I came up...

What a difference a day makes,
twenty-four little hours.
Cool chill in the air,
Your very first breath of life, I was there.
Tiny miracle of God, you appeared,
overflowing with joy, my eyes cried a tear,
outstretching my arms to hold you so near.
I really enjoyed this poem. It's so down to earth, something that is rare anymore. Years ago we were told, "Be yourself!" So many young girls struggle these days to be what they see, not who they are. I just loved this poem!
I love this poem about a sister. I also have a sister, and we are extremely close. This poem expresses a love of two sisters so well. Beautiful poem that really touched me!
So romantic. It's not often you hear poems with words and feelings like this, especially in this day and age and especially from men. This poem really screams romance and love. What a lucky lady to have a guy who cherishes her in this way and will say it in such a beautiful way!
I absolutely loved this poem. Live life. There is so much wisdom in these valuable words. If only everyone could live their lives by these standards it would be a happier, better world. Wonderful poem!
I thought it was such a good poem. It goes to show children will be children through the years. I had to laugh. It made me think of my own children and myself growing up, how miraculously they can recover on a Saturday!
