He Looks A Lot Like You
in I Miss You Poems
On a crowded street I saw him
On a corner close to home
His walk was long and steady
He wore your style of clothes.
Jac Judy A. Campbell is a poet by heart and a writer by nature, and she is thrilled to be able to share part of herself that others will enjoy. She reads a lot of good books and loves arts and crafts, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and growing a garden. She is happily married, takes care of her husband, and enjoys her children and grandchildren as much as possible.
Jac Judy A. Campbell lives in a little country house in the central California Valley, surrounded by grapes, almonds, walnuts, and just about any fruit you could wish for. She is happily retired and is thankful God has given her the time and knowledge to write whenever she chooses to pick up her pencil.

May we learn about Jesus and his time here on earth,
Understand his crucifixion and the miracle of his birth
May we read bible scriptures his word to obey
The things I love about you
Aren't going away with age.
You will still calm me down,
Perk me up, get me excited,
You came to us as a Princess
A pretty Granddaughter baby girl
So full of love and laughter
A sparkling diamond in this world
You know what? You will be ok, and your children will be ok, because you turn to our God for help. Who else has as much power to help the ones in need if not our God? Bless you for being you and having faith in God and wanting God's blessings for your children. Keep on holding strong to your faith. Your children will benefit greatly.

You are absolutely right, we need God every minute of the day to give us the strength to bear our burdens and trials, for God is in control and we just need to learn to trust him. If we think we have control over our lives, then try spending the day in the hospital of a child with leukemia. He may not give us what we think we need at the time, but we need to have faith in our God.

This poem was well written. If all us parents could or would apply these important actions to raising our children, we would have the comfort of knowing we did the best we could.

Oh, that's a beautiful poem, short and to the exact point. God desires each of us to come to him so he can lighten our loads. That's the reason we go through so many obstacles in life, so we don't have to go through stuff alone.

Yes! You're exactly right. We worry about the after, never realizing today determines the after!
