About Wendy Evans

I work as part of the industrialization and development team for a global luxury brand. I love nature and feel connected to the world around me. I am the kind of person who sees miracles everywhere in a, sometimes unforgiving, world. I believe that happiness is a state of mind that everyone can achieve, given the right mind-set. I have a kind heart and believe the more you give the more you become yourself. My positivity allows me to see beauty in the smallest of things. I am not a materialistic person I would rather spend time walking bare foot on the grass than having a designer handbag. I believe that the richest people are those who live in a home with love in it.

Many years have passed since she lay in my arms silent in sleep. Alive in my mind these memories I keep.
A beautiful child so precious so pure, this small being of light that I love and adore.

I look down at her and what do I see, those wondrous eyes stair right back at me.

Living in a prison where I walk around free.
Trapped in this body that I refer to as me.

I pray to the creator as I look to the sky's.

  • The Healing Garden

God loves all his children. We are all unique, valued and special in the eyes of the father. His love is unconditional and through him we are saved for he is not only our creator but our salvation.

    in Faith Poems

Last night when I was weary an Angel came to me.
His was sent to be my guide, a trip he was asked to oversee.

The Angel had a calmness as he gently took my hand.

  • The Prisoner

Sometimes life becomes hard to bear. I imagine most of us have been in that situation at some stage throughout their life time. This poem tells the story of a girl who finds the world around her tainted, she is a gentle soul, she wishes for a better place and in not finding it creates her own reality.

    in Poems about Life Struggles

Here I reside inside my head where devil and demons fear to tread.
I don't want to see the flaws in humanity, the greed and selfishness that test my sanity.

In my mind there is a safe place I have created myself, away from the ugliness of war and those with ambition for wealth.

    in Spiritual Poems about Death

There is this special place in Heaven that one day I will see.
It was built by an Angel, and she made it just for me.

She filled this place with happy thoughts, chapters of a life that have now passed,
