You were there for my very first breath,
And I was there for your last.
The time we got to share together,
Went by too quick...too fast.

For life or someone took you away from me,
With that hateful, horrible disease.
The cancer struck you hard and fast,
We weren't even given time to sneeze.

You were gone, and we were left,
To struggle through this life.
The pain struck more when we looked in Dad's eyes,
As he dreaded to continue without his wife.

Continue he did, for a while,
How proud we were of him.
Times were tough, as he missed you dearly,
But he was always as strong as can be.

Then came along in not much time,
More horrible and sad news.
Dad was sick, the same as you,
The cancer had got him too.

How could this be, it's not even a year,
Since we lost our beautiful Mum.
I hated this world for what it's doing,
Why do we have to be that someone?

It stayed with Dad for a while,
Eventually making him quite sick.
Then it was time to say goodbye,
When his heart could no longer tick.

Exactly a year since we said goodbye to you,
We had to say goodbye to Dad too.
I wish it were a dream and I could wake up,
But this nightmare is horribly true.

And so we continue, each day different to the next,
The pain still so real and sore.
Still trying to accept and understand,
What did this happen to our family for?

I now sit and pray and try to picture you two,
And I hope that you are both together.
This world we live in is not the end,
And your love was to last forever.

Until it's time for us to meet again,
Please be there watching over me.
Help me continue through this life,
And give me direction that I can see.

Mum and Dad, you are my entire world,
You are both as precious as a pearl.
Every day I love you with all my heart,
Signed...Your Little Girl.

I sit and look back to how far I can remember,
And you are always there next to me.
Each and every day you were helping me grow up,
And making me be the best that I can be.

Your love was forever strong,
Your cuddles forever tight.
Every day since I was born,
Your love was always in sight.

I will always be your Baby Girl,
And you will always be my Dad.
I know I will always be the luckiest
To have the best Dad any girl could have had.

My Daddy, I love you with all my heart,
Much more than I ever say.
You are my world, my everything,
Each and every day.

My dear Big Sis, you are the greatest there is
And amazing in every way.
I greatly admire and look up to you
Each and every day.

You are always showing how much you care,
From your heart that is filled with love.
You are a beautiful angel,
Sent from the heavens above.

I am the luckiest sis in the world
To have grown up next to you.
We played and laughed and had fun together,
A great bond that has always stayed true.

Big Sis, you are always in my heart and thoughts,
And I am always sending you a hug and kiss.
You are my world, and I love you so much.
Always and forever...your Lil' Sis.

When I lay there beside you,
Could you feel me there?
My arms were wrapped around you,
And I was stroking your hair.

I was talking about all the good times,
For me they were every single day.
I wanted you to feel love and comfort,
And happy in some way.

I watched your every breath,
And prayed that each one wasn't your last.
The time we got to share together,
Went by too quick...Too fast.

I wanted you to wake up,
Please Mum...Open your eyes.
Tell me this is a nightmare,
And not our goodbyes.

As your last breath grew closer,
We lay there peacefully together.
My heart continually breaking,
Because I wanted you forever.

Then there it was,
Your final breath of air.
I didn't want to believe it,
This is so cruel and not fair.

I held your beautiful face,
And prayed you'd breath again.
I wasn't ready for you to go,
I couldn't admit that this was the end.

But then I realized that you were now in peace,
And not suffering anymore.
You were beginning the life of an Angel,
And your body would no longer be sore.

I held you close and squeezed you tight,
And tried to say goodbye.
I've lost my Mum and my number one best friend,
All my heart could do is cry.

I slowly got up,
I wanted so much to stay.
I leaned over and gave you one more kiss,
It was so hard to walk away.

Mum, you are my entire world,
And I miss you so very much.
I wish I could feel your lovable cuddle,
And your soft and gentle touch.

But for now I have to wait,
Until we meet again.
You will always be in my heart and thoughts,
My dear Mum and best friend.
