I want to tell you how I feel about you,
but I am afraid to
for you might not feel the same way
I want to kiss you,
but I am afraid to
for you might pull away
I want to tell you to hold me,
but I am afraid to
for you might look away
I want to tell you I want to be more than friends,
but I'm afraid to
for you might walk out of my life forever

I want to love again,
but my heart will not obey.
I want to be happy,
but depression always occurs.
I want to stop crying,
but my tears keep falling.
I want to smile,
but a frown always appear on my face

When her children are asleep,
she is right there to watch over them
When they open their eyes,
she is right there to greet them
When they are sick,
she is right there to nurse them
When they are in trouble,
she is right there to protect them
When they need love,
she is right there to give them
a Mother's love

My beautiful Mother
sweet as a flower
Never asks for anything
Always giving
Always smiling
Never frowning
Caring as a teacher
Never too busy to give advice
Always there by my side
Always helping
Never neglecting
Understanding as a counselor
Never gives up
Always does her best
Always shining
Never quitting
