I promise to be true to you tomorrow and today.
I promise I will love you. My love will never fade.
I promise to be there for you in good times and in bad.
I promise I will wear your ring and always hold your hand.

I promise I will care for you in sickness and in health.
I promise to be there for you if we are poor or have wealth.
I promise to be strong for you, for better or for worse.
I promise I will comfort you when you need me the most.

I promise I will stand by you each and every day.
I promise I will cherish you in very gentle ways.
I promise to be patient, truthful, and kind.
I promise I will walk with you until the end of time.

I promise to be faithful and a loving devoted spouse.
I promise that our home will be more than just a house.
I promise that our wedding life will be united in God's love.
I promise that our children will be blessings from above.

I promise I will walk with you in laughter and in tears.
I promise I will stay with you when there are doubts and fears.
I promise to commit to you in body and in heart.
I promise my whole life to you; until death do us part.

Every day you cross my mind in memories that I treasure
like the times we use to travel and cook and the times we sang together.
I never got to say goodbye, but I'll never stop talking to you
and let you know how my day is going and share a memory or two.

You had such a beautiful life with family and with friends.
Your love of life brought light to us we hoped would never end.
Your beauty was beyond compare in kindness and in love,
and I promise that the love you gave will always be passed on.

I know you now belong to God, but your love and light remain.
I know you walk beside me because you're never far away.
I am trying to live without you and to mend a heart that's grieving
by filling the sadness in my heart with faith and spiritual healing.

There is always something there that reminds me so much of you
and the times we spent together, which were more than just a few.
You were always the dearest friend who brought out the best in me,
and you always made me feel I was a part of your family.

I loved your gentle presence and your warm inviting hugs.
You were a once in a lifetime friend who was, oh, so very much loved.
We were making memories to remember when we were having fun.
Memories that I look back on and remember one by one.

No one can ever take your place. You were one of a kind.
You were very special. You're not far from my mind.
You left so unexpectedly. The loss was beyond tears.
But I hold on to my faith in God remembering you in my prayers.

I miss our times together because I smiled a whole lot more.
You were one of my greatest gifts. You were someone I adored.
And when you are looking down from the gates of Heaven above,
know that my memories will keep you forever alive with love.

When thunder and lightning begin to collide
to rock our world and cause a divide,
we'll hold on tight through the twists and turns
and remember the love inside us that burns.

Heart storms expose our imperfections and flaws
while weaknesses and faults bring out our claws.
Love in the midst of any heart storm
becomes the calm after in its tender form.

I will always need that part of you
that never let's go when a heart storm brews.
You are the lifeboat in the midst of distress
when love gets tough and becomes a mess.

After the heart storm, we won't be the same.
Even after the toughest storm there's still a little rain.
A rainbow is waiting to bring beauty and hope
to calm our heart storm and help us cope.

Love is the shelter in a heart storm.
Love keeps us safe and keeps us warm.
Because weathering the storms of love
will bring our heart storm to a calm.

The map of the heart is a rugged terrain
that throws you off course causing pleasure or pain.
Uncharted territory with no paths or roads
where battles are fought or love can grow.

The terrain can be rocky, rough and worn
but still hold beauty like a rose reborn.
The heart blazes a trail and guides you through life
through unspoken challenges with joy and with strife.

The map of the heart can be cracked and jagged.
with scars that are deep, yet love is still magic.
An unknown wilderness with no visible path,
with desolate plains which are empty and vast.

The course is tough with many twists and turns,
but courage of the heart is resilient in return.
A challenging way of emotional wilderness
without clear direction or feelings to confess.

Overgrown trails through thorns and weeds
causes setbacks to navigate and disguises our needs.
Emotional shifts caused by unrelenting changes
leaves the heart off track in life's shifting ranges.

The map of the heart has steep hills and valleys
where love lights the way through sorrows darkest alleys.
The map of the heart is where all beauty lies
in the love we seek and the tears we disguise.

You are the music. You are the song.
You are the words of truth and love.
You are the voice that speaks to our heart.
You are the music, the song of our heart.

You are the music we love and adore.
You are the song that we sing evermore.
You are the voice that calls us to pray.
You are the words of goodness and strength.

You are the music that brings us delight.
You are the song that brings hope to our life.
You are the voice that calls us to faith.
You are the words of kindness and grace.

You are the music we sing joyfully.
You are the song that brings light to our day.
You are the voice that calls us to serve.
You are the words of love we have heard.

You are the music that fills us with peace.
You are the song that we sing and believe.
You are the voice that calls us to grace.
You are the words we pray every day.

You are the music that blesses our soul.
You are the love song that makes our lives whole.
You are the voice that calls us to Him.
You are the words of life without end.

Remember when we first did meet,
our hearts rejoiced and skipped a beat.
Remember our first kiss goodnight,
the hug we shared that summer's night.

Remember when we walked the beach
and all our dreams within our reach.
Remember how we used to be
when I had you and you had me.

Remember when we used to talk,
when we held hands and took long walks.
Remember how we spent our days
in warm sunshine and in the rain.

Remember when our one desire
was take a chance and ignite the fire.
Remember the times that made our hearts melt
and all of the passion and desire that we felt.

Remember when you looked at me
and saw the one you love and need.
Remember when you reached for me
and knew that we were meant to be.

Remember when our love was new. 
Remember the day we both said, "I do."
Remember the journey we started together. 
Remember our love was always forever.

Remember the promise we made together,
to love and to cherish and to care for each other.
Remember the promise in good times and in bad
and to make each one happy rather than sad.

Remember when you held our child
and rocked the baby when I grew tired.
Remember the treasured times
like these when love grew into family.

Remember when the world was bright,
when we would laugh and hold on tight.
Remember when our hearts were broken,
when times were tough and words unspoken.

Remember when we grieved our loss
with parents gone and feeling lost.
Remember when our love endured
the pains and heartaches of the world.

What happened to the life we shared? 
What happened to a love so rare?
What happened to the kiss goodnight,
the warm embrace, the love at night?

Did it all just happen? How do we right the wrong?
I know that in my heart your arms I do belong.

Can we live our lives together just like it all began,
and can we hold and cherish each other and remember our love again?
