Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is my favorite it's the best time of the year
The tables full of food and all our family's here
A day for eating turkey and drinking wine and beer
Spending time with relatives who come from far and near
It's time for giving thanks for all we're thankful for
The food and drinks are just a start there's so much more
We're thankful for the elder ones that opened up the door
We're thankful for the little ones crawling on the floor
Please don't forget the teachers working at the school
They educate our children and they learn the golden rule
Thanksgiving is a happy time but sometimes I feel sad
It hasn't been that long ago I lost my mom and dad Don't forget the workers that keep us safe and warm
We're thankful for the food and milk that we get from the farm
We thank our living solders and the ones that had to dye
When we count all our blessings the totals pretty high
Thanksgiving should be every day and run the whole year long
Be thankful for good fortune and change what we did wrong
We laugh we cry we wonder why our time has gone so fast
We talk about old friends and when we seen them last
We need to get together more I only wish we could
We wonder what the future brings the past has been real good
It's seams like we just got here but now it's time to go
We hope to see you all next year till then we'll miss you so
Goodbye
