I was blessed today in a special way
I was able to be with you all day
 
I got to watch you, admire you, adore you and appreciate your smile
I watched you when you did not know I was looking, admiring your beauty all the while
 
I touched you and you complained, not of my touch but at what you feel are your imperfections
My wife so beautiful why can't you see, God created you, you have matured with perfection
 
When I look at you I see a very beautiful woman, beauty so pure
When I touch you, you still move my heart and soul, that is for sure
 
When I feel your body with my hands, I feel so much
I feel warmth, love, and beauty in a touch
 
Yes, you have matured and for that I must say that I have no doubt
I also feel that you are more of a woman today that I could not live without
 
I love to feel your body, your skin so delicate, so fine
And then I think why am I so lucky that God has made you mine
 
I love you for who you are and who you have become
I love you because you have matured with me and our hearts are still so young
 
Your beauty is a mature beauty that shows the life of a mother and a wife
You are so perfect to me, so beautiful, I thank God that you are in my life
 
Please do not doubt me when I express to you how beautiful you are
You are as beautiful today as the first time I saw you and admired you from afar

To touch you and caress you gives me great pleasure
For to me I am in love with a very special treasure

My girlfriend is now my wife
It happened 30 years ago and changed my life
 
I have heard people complain as they age of what they may have missed
Well, if they complain, then that is for them, because for 30 years I have had your kiss
 
I know not of things I could have had in a life that is past
I do know that I am blessed with your love, a love that lasts
 
If I look back in time and say, "I missed something and I desire"
I think of your love and to say I would trade a thing would make me a liar
 
I could look back in time and say, "I could have had"
I had you, to want anything else would be just mad
 
I know as a young husband I gave up what some may feel were the best years of their lives
Well, I gave up nothing. I feel sorrow for them; I had more because you are my wife
 
Yes, I know how to look back in time, I know my life
I would not change a thing because you are my wife
 
Regret, why should I do such a thing
For I am proud to wear my wedding ring
 
They had fast cars and fast times
I had you, a wife so very fine
 
What did they have that I did not
Well, whatever it was, I am sure it was not a lot

You are my past, my present, and my future
We have lived our past, you are my present, and I pray to be blessed with you in my future
 
I had more joy, more laughter, more love, and more pleasure
Because what I have with you is more than can be measured

I got up early this morning and put the coffee on
It was a beautiful morning, a Sunday morning dawn

I made the coffee, two cups, one for me and one for you
I brought them back to our bed, but to awake you I could not do

I placed the two cups on the table next to our bed
You did not know that I laid back down at the foot of the bed

I watched as you laid there asleep and so peaceful
I watched you, thinking to myself and God that you are so beautiful

I watched as you dreamed, the movement of your eyes and often a little smile
You looked amazing there so beautiful, you never knew I was there all the while

I watched the sunlight flicker on your beautiful face
I watched you lay there, for me a beautiful place

I then got up and placed hot water on towels in the tub
I had planed you a Sunday morning massage, a good rub

I finally awoke you about an hour after I had awaken
You never knew the time that I had taken

Time to admire your beauty, your peace as you did sleep
Truly loving each minute and building a memory to keep

I gave you your coffee in bed
"Oh, that's cold," was what you said

You had no idea what I had been doing up all that time
I could not wake you and admired as you slept, so peaceful and fine

I brought more coffee and this time it was hot
I was sorry it was cold, I should have thought

I took off your night shirt, you yet knew my plans
I placed a hot towel on your back, rubbed it in with my hands

Next was a hot oil massage rubbed in with love
Something that I must do for my angel sent from above

You often say, "You don't have to do this"
Trust me when I say if I did not it is something I would miss

It gives me the ability to express my love in a gentle and caring way
Something that I want to do for you each day

It gives me a chance to touch your body so soft and so beautiful
Something that I want to do, it is called being thoughtful

I know that you are at times in great pain, I am here for you
I hope you know that I would take the pain from you, I love you true

If my touch through a massage brings you relief and pleasure
Please let me do that for you, it means more to me than you can measure

You know that I pray, God is listening from up above
I pray that you know that I do these things out of love

I am your husband true and devoted to love and to care for you
You are my everything, my love, my life, my world, please know this is true

As your husband I am to honor and respect you and ensure that no harm comes to you
A husband should be willing to give his life for his wife, I will give my life for you in all that I do

Time, if I had all the time in the world I would have absolutely nothing.
It is not time itself that makes your life worth something.

In the time that I have, I will be kinder, gentler, and more giving.
I will take advantage of all the time I have to show more joy; I will be living.

I will take the time that I have to listen more intently.
I will respond and speak more wisely and more softly.

In the time that I have I will share it with those whom I love,
Because I have no idea how much time I have; that is up to God above.

In the time that I have I will devote myself to God through Christ.
I will respect the word of God because without him I have no life.

In the time that I have I will love and honor my wife in all that I do.
I do this out of love, a devoted and never ending love for you.

In the time that I have I will share a passion for a blessed and positive life.
I will make the time to share my love with my one greatest blessing, my beautiful wife.

In the time that we have together I will lift you up in spirit. and to God I will pray
That you have health, kindness, and love as part of your blessing each and every day.

Time is no longer my friend, and I know that is true.
My wife, that is why I want to devote all my time to loving you.
