I taped my voice it wasn't me
Not what I thought I sounded like you see,
So I thought to myself
If I don't know my own,
What of the other's I've supposedly known,
If I don't know others
Then what chance
Of analyzing others
Through my distorted glance.
We live and we die,
We laugh and we cry,
Yet if our images are so blurred,
Have we really occurred
We live and we die,
We laugh and we cry,
Yet if our images are so blurred,
Have we really occurred
Life Do You Really Exist
There is something about this poem that I can really relate to. I look forward to reading more of your work. Very best wishes, Ann.
