Sitting in a hammock,
the wind rocks me to sleep.
The warm sun
wraps me up
and holds me tight.
The salt in the air
fills my nose,
and I can’t help
but love the feeling
of sand between my toes.
The waves roll up on the sandy shore,
singing me to sleep.
I lie lifeless.
Not a care in the world,
not a single peep.
The art of doing nothing
really is something.
