I wrote this poem after losing my best friend. Sadly, I fell in love with him, but he loved someone else, and I lost him in the end.

I'm sorry that I hurt you
And that I lied.
I'm sorry I can't be the one you want to hold at night.
I'm sorry that we argue
And fight.
I'm sorry that I fell in love with you;
I knew it wasn't right.
I sit here and know I'll be all right,
But I can't help but think of you
On these long sleepless nights.
