I Love You Poem

Meant For Each Other Poem

This poem is about my feelings for the man I love. He is Navajo (Dine, in their language) and he is so beautiful and special to me. I had given up on love, and I was 41 when I met him. I'll never forget the day I saw him. He was so beautiful and sexy to me. I was crazy about him then and still am. Our relationship does have its problems though, and we have a lot to work on. But I have no doubt of our love and believe we were meant for each other.

Dine Destiny

When I first saw you, you took my breath away.
You're all I've ever wanted from that first lovely day.

There's none to compare to you.
When we're apart I feel so blue.

I miss those thick lips and that body that's all mine,
When we're together nothing else matters...
Not the day, year, nor time.

Sometimes when we're in bed at night, with you sleeping by my side,
I watch you and stroke your body,
Sleep eludes me because I'm mesmerized.

My beautiful Dine man...with the long dark hair
and native pride,
There's nothing I wouldn't do for you,
My feelings I've never been able to hide.

We share our bodies, our souls and hearts,
I've been in love with you from the start.

I look forward to our lives together,
I need you and want you, today and forever.
