I wake up from a lonely sleep
In a unknown place
There are lots of corridors
I don't recognise a face
Lots all dressed in suits
With special slippers to
Can't see mummy or daddy
I don't know what to do
There is a smell of chemicals
It all smells really clean
Iv tubes and wires clipped to me connected to a machine
I'm hurting everywhere
It really really stings
Mummy come to me
I'm worried about these things
Iv never seen this place before?
What am I doing here ?
Not only am hurting
I'm now full of lots of fear
They ask me if I'm hungry ?
I couldn't eat a thing
What is this machine ?
Why does it sound a ding
They all seem really friendly
They call me by my name
Do colouring pictures
And guess the letter game
Where is my mummy?
When is she coming here?
I've been here way to long
So please make it very clear
