Poem about Life Struggles

I wrote this poem on my 16 birthday just to show that even though my life isn't perfect I still love it and wouldn't change a thing about it.

Through It All

Friends come and go
Life flies by right before your eyes.
You lose ones you love
Yet through it all you still love your life.

People leave you to fight alone.
You put on a fake smile to hide all your pain,
Yet someone still knows you're hurt.

Through it all you still put on a front to satisfy those around you.
Thorough it all you wouldn't change a thing.
Through it all you wouldn't trade your life for fame.

You build a wall to try to keep from getting hurt.
You lock up you heart and throw away the key to see who cares enough to look for it.
Through it all there's not many people that got you to open up yet still you love it all.

Struggles meet you in the face to watch you slip up.
Yet through it all you wouldn't change a thing.

Through it all you wouldn't change a thing.
Through it all you wouldn't trade your life for fame.

I am currently going through a lot. I was touched by this poem. Friends do come and go. I have had problems all my life. They got worse in 2012-2014. I am 35. I have support people now, so I have some comfort knowing I am loved and cared for and not alone in my battles. I am learning to be positive, have hope, faith, assertiveness, mindfulness now, and letting go of negative people and judgemental people in my life. It is better to be positive, supportive, and non-judgemental.

I wrote this poem at age 16. Now at age 24, here I am looking back at the poem to help me get through life's ever-changing troubles. I hope my poem has helped some of you find peace of some kind. God bless.

It's a good poem. Like for me now, someone came and then departed, but I think that's how life goes on. Sadly I miss them so much. So far I don't know if they miss me.

I'm 17 and I have always been used for some reason or the other because of my kidneys but now I can feel myself slowly changing into a cold hearted person because of the things I've been through!

Today, I tell you the horrific events of my life. I am a young adult, only 18, yet I have still been through so much it feels like I've been alive for more than my time here. I was abused as a kid by my father. I am now in a situation where I was so vulnerable for anything I went and lived with a man 4 times my age. I was with him for what seemed like forever, but really only two months. I had left because I was tired of being raped every day and night of my day. I was physically abused and sexually abused my whole life, but I have decided I need help and I am now in a shelter getting my life back to what society sees as normal. God is Good. God bless everyone.

Don't give up hope. It's a good thing that you are working so hard to get your life back on track. Hope you make it. I believe you can do it. May God bless you, and all the best of luck from me.

I have done many bad things in my life. I have made poor choices and I have put myself down. I have never seeked help because I felt like if I did I would be weird. It is hard fighting something alone. There is someone who loves you and cares about you out there. I promise you that. Don't fight what ever you are going through alone. It is hard and it is miserable. Seek guidance and be happy.

I'm a young girl that will soon turn a young adult. I have been having problems since I was about 10 years old. Just wondering is there anyone out there to look for and really care for me for who I am and not what I do, I just don't understand it's hard for me. Will there ever be someone to guide me, help me, show me..... etc.
