November Harbinger
Brilliant lonely star on high,
In the fiery charcoal sky,
in Haiku
Warm fall afternoons,
crisp cool eves with harvest moons,
crickets singing tunes,
I'm so happy you enjoyed "Hello Autumn." It has always been my favorite season of the year. I had to think of a way to sum it up completely for a Haiku style poem and this is what I came up...
in Fall Poems
What a difference a day makes,
twenty-four little hours.
Cool chill in the air,
Your very first breath of life, I was there.
Tiny miracle of God, you appeared,
overflowing with joy, my eyes cried a tear,
outstretching my arms to hold you so near.
Great poem and so much wisdom to know that no matter who or what is for or against us we need to follow our dreams, because they are our dreams! I really liked this poem!
Very touching poem. Such sweet words, and what a lucky young man to have met such a lovely, charming young woman with such tenderness, and her words truly show it!!
All I can say is I that I love this poem! If only we all could be like that mighty oak. What a wonderful world it would be. Beautiful poem!
Wow, dear author of this heart-saddening poem, you may be a child in age, not so in your maturity level and your spirit. Taking on all that grief alone and hidden is hard indeed. I think it is wonderful you are finally coming to terms with your grief through this beautiful poem. I understand first-hand about the kind of grief you are experiencing and trying to hide your own sad feelings of loss and heartache to be strong for your other loved ones, but then I am a heck of a lot older than you. I admire your courage, but you need to allow yourself to grieve now. Beautiful poem!
I really enjoyed this poem. It's so very true. We all have certain regrets or circumstances in life we would give anything to change if we could. Sometimes that is just not possible, and even if we could make up for certain things, we still can't change whatever it is that we regret or the fact that it happened. We can either beat ourselves up or learn from it and continue forward in life with a lesson well learned, becoming a better version of ourselves. I love the way the poet presented this poem.
