  • Irreconcilable Differences?

    Living with an emotionally abusive man has stretched me to my limit. Years of trying to make things better may have come to an end.

    "Irreconcilable differences" used to seem an odd term to me
    when people used it to describe their unexplainable misery.

  • The Strong One

    I wrote this one night after a fight with a family member. Sometimes others need to realize that those of us who seem to always be organized and have everything under control actually need a little break once in a while.

  • Wait No More

    I wrote this poem in the early morning hours when I couldn't sleep. I was remembering when I first met my husband after going through a very rough time. I decided to give this poem to my husband for Valentines Day 2014 after nearly 17 years of marriage.
