  • Time Well Spent

After taking a walk together and experiencing nature and the little moments that are big blessings I was inspired to write the experience down in a rhyming poem. We have a big family so we don't get out as often as we like. We also need to be more intentional to go when we have some time. We love when we get away to the mountains by ourselves. These hills can be our mountains in the meantime.

  • Mom's Present

I wrote this to express how willing mom was to care for us kids. The poem has a few play on words which is something I like to use to intrigue the reader with.

  • Forgiveness

I have personally experienced the effects of unforgiveness and have experienced the freedom in forgiveness. It is something I would like others to be free from to be able to live life to its fullest.

To forgive is not easy to do
    when someone has wronged you.
It is hard to let go
    of the hurt you know.
