My boyfriend of 10 months broke up with me last night because of family issues and it being too hard to be with me. Some of you may think that it's easier knowing that he still loves me...but it's not. It may be worse.

You Hurt Me, But I Forgive You

You broke my heart
But I still love you with all the little pieces.
I know you didn't mean to
And that you didn't want to hurt me
So I forgive you.
You told me it wasn't a line, but
It really was "you, not me."
You're under too much stress
And I understand that,
But I just wish that you would've let me be there for you
As your girlfriend.
I'm still going to be there for you
But just as your friend.
All I want is your arms wrapped around me
But I know that they can't be
Because if they were I know that I would fall in love with you
Even more than I am now.
You said that you still love me
And always will.
Now, why'd you have to go and say that?
It's exactly what I longed to hear
But it just made my heart shatter into a few more pieces.
I love you and you love me, but we can't be together.
How unfair is that?
I want to be your friend,
But how can I?
How can I be your friend,
When all I want to do is be in your arms again?
